A Gallery of Art & Stories

Ristorante Famiglia Rana is a meeting place where art from distant lands, eras, and cultures comes together, united by a shared interest in organic compounds.

Inside the restaurant, a curated collection of artworks tells human stories through the use of natural materials, references to the earth, and simple, elemental forms.

The oldest piece on display — a Tyrannosaurus rex tooth, around 67 million years old — is presented alongside contemporary works, connected by shared skills, a sense of history, and enduring values.

Artworks and sculptures are displayed not only on walls and shelves but also on the table itself — a place where craftsmanship and imagination extends beyond the plate.

Following an excavation campaign in the valley surrounding the restaurant, Bronze Age artifacts were discovered, revealing that this land was once inhabited by people who built stilt houses, lived on water, hunted nearby, shaped the earth into objects, and experimented with fire for cooking. This past echoes in our mission to protect and celebrate historical and cultural heritage.
